1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Some cookies are needed to make a site work, for example to keep you signed in. Others are used to follow visitors across pages or sites. We use only the first kind.
2. Cookies we use
| Where | Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| zustack.dev and my.zustack.dev | Language choice (zs_lang) | Remembers whether you picked NL or EN with the language switch, so the website and My Zustack open in that language next time. Only when you choose. Functional. | 1 year, or until you choose again |
| my.zustack.dev | Session | Keeps you signed in after you use your link or code. Strictly necessary. | 30 days, or until you sign out |
| my.zustack.dev | Security token | Protects forms in My Zustack against forged requests. Strictly necessary. | Until you close the browser |
All of these cookies are set by us, only for you, and contain no advertising or tracking data.
Until you choose a language, the one you see first depends on your browser's language setting, and otherwise on the country you browse from. We read these only when the page is requested, and we do not store them.
3. Why there is no banner
Under Dutch and European rules, cookies that are strictly necessary for a service you asked for need no consent. Cookies that only measure how a site is used need none either, as long as they have little effect on your privacy. We go one step further. Our visit statistics work without cookies and without storing anything on your device, so we have nothing to ask permission for. If we ever add a cookie that needs your consent, we will ask first and update this page.
4. Content from other sites
We load our fonts, images and scripts from our own servers. We do not embed videos, maps, social media buttons or advertising from other parties, so none of them can set a cookie through our pages.
5. Controlling cookies
You can see, block and delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the My Zustack cookies, you cannot stay signed in, and you will need a new link or code each time. If you block the language choice, you pick the language again each time.
6. Changes and contact
We update this page if our cookies change. The version number and date at the top show which version applies. Questions? Write to [email protected]. For how we handle personal data in general, read our privacy policy.
